In a new escalation of the Sudanese crisis, a sharp exchange of statements has taken place between Sudanese Army Chief General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan and Rapid Support Forces (RSF) leader Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo, known as “Hemedti.” Both leaders have reaffirmed their determination to continue military operations until achieving total victory over the other, further deepening the crisis and complicating any chances for resolution.

This escalation comes amid the ongoing armed conflict between the Sudanese Armed Forces and the RSF, with both sides accusing each other of committing violations and abuses. The intensifying war rhetoric reflects a worsening security situation and raises fears of an even greater humanitarian catastrophe in the country.

The international community is closely watching these developments, urging de-escalation and dialogue to prevent further bloodshed. However, the situation on the ground appears to be heading toward more complexity as both sides remain entrenched in their positions.
