Electricity is gradually returning to Dongola after partial repairs were completed at the main power station. Authorities confirmed that the station will be fully energized in the coming hours to ensure a stable power supply across the city.
The General Manager of Sudan Electricity Company extended his congratulations to residents on the significant restoration of electricity, commending the tireless efforts of engineers, technicians, and workers who remained at their posts from the first day of the incident. He emphasized that these teams worked relentlessly, despite limited resources, to implement solutions, repair the station, and alleviate the hardships faced by citizens—ultimately achieving success.

He also expressed his gratitude to residents for their patience during the outage and acknowledged the continuous support of the state government, which played a vital role in facilitating repair operations.
